I don't see a thumbnail for this on the home page, but that may just be a cached image on my machine. I've been waiting for this one. How cool! I love the way it worked out. Too busy to corpse these days (I'm lucky if I find time to brush my teeth!), but it's nice to see this posted.

I haven't put the thumb up yet -- I started this at work and right in the middle, someone came along and called upon me to do actual work (which lasted all day). Still trying to get to it.

Another argument for that much sought after automation.

And yes, I think this one looks super cool, and coherent from top to bottom.

"Olive Boy"... sort of makes up for the infamous DB from the old Corpse site...

woooow.... definitely worth the wait. i'm chagrined by the line i left, but i don't think it ruins it...
we should consider agreeing on which end of each title segment contains the preposition. i always put it at the end, but others like to put it at the beginning. any thoughts?

OBiggie, that's a cool idea, maybe some kind of title construction --

noun | verb with ending preposition | phrase with ending preposition | noun

ie:

Trees | Exist in | Cabbage Patch of | Babylon

or something?

Vary nice naming system indeed. It still leaves things open but will help to make them somewhat cohesive. :)

As much as I agree that it would sometimes make a more cohesive title, it also makes it harder to come up with a title for each slice in two words plus a preposition. I already have trouble coming up with titles that are only three words long.

There have been some smashing titles that didn't necessarily contain prepositions in each (or in any) of the fragments.

And, case in point, as happened here, someone uses "and" at the end of their title and the next person uses "In" at the beginning of theirs.... or "In" and "In".

True, I'd be inclined to not make it part of the official rules, but some sort of voluntary general rule that floats around out there, as common knowledge, might be convenient for those who are interested. Maybe this deserves its own thread.

As for myself, I've always just named my slices without prepositions to avoid the mess. I tend to name them nouns or "ing" words, which more or less works with other segments.
